    SCDIRB copy has the autograph of Jo. Gregory [John Gregory, grandson of the author?] on the front free endpaper of the volume; with the stamp of the Inner Temple Library on the t.p. The bookseller suggests that "the volume was probably acquired by Francis Maseres after John Gregory's death, and thus found its way into the Inner Temple."
