Tammen Curio Co., [approximately 1895] Description:  1 volume (unpaged) : chiefly illustrations ; 28 x 32 cm Notes:  Photomechanical reproductions of 36 photographs of the Rocky Mountains, with accompanying descriptive captions. Some images are printed in sepia or green tones. Includes images of the Teton Range (Wyoming), Mountain of the Holy Cross, Sultan Mountain, the Loop railroad bridge between Denver and Graymont, lakes, Cripple Creek township, Georgetown, Manitou, Pike's Peak trail, railroads, Mount Abrams, Elk Park, canyons, Hotel Colorado (Glenwood Springs), Yosemite, and landscapes. Local Note:  AAPGRU has two copies representing different issues, with some variation in typography. AAPGRU copy 1 (39088020204640) has an illustrated title page, and the original black embossed-cloth cover stamped with silver. AAPGRU copy 1 has stamp on title page: Barkalow Bros. Denver, Colo. Union Depot. AAPGRU copy 2 (39088020204657) has text only on its title page, and the original purple embossed-cloth cover stamped with green.
