    Featured designers include G.A. Audsley; B. Binyon; F. Brophy; Walter Crane; Lewis F. Day; G.E. Fox; F.V. Hart; A. Jonquet; W. Scott Morton; J.D. Sedding; and S. Vacher.
    The first design featured, "The royal jubilee wall-paper," is dated 1887.
    Text and illustrations printed in shades of sepia; some of the illustrations are printed on tissue paper mounted on carboard. Several of the illustrations are printed on double leaves.
    "All papers free from arsenic."
    Accordion-style binding, with cardboard leaves joined at the fore-edge. The leaves are printed on both sides.
    Local Note: 
    CHMRB copy 39088020038519 has bookplate: Smithsonian Libraries. Purchased from the Cooper Hewitt Library Endowment.
    CHMRB copy has a semi-legible inscription handwritten in faded pencil: "To my daughter Katherine ...."
